Mobile Prototype of Casa Furniture (Homepage and Checkout Page)

CASA FURNITURE

The project developed a Native iOS Mobile App for a furniture company, following Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines. Starting with market research and competitor analysis, the process included UX audits, user personas and SWOT analysis to understand user behavior. The design phase created modern, minimalistic wireframes, refined through peer feedback and prototyping. User testing informed the final prototype, ensuring a seamless experience from onboarding to checkout.

GOAL

The goal of this project was to develop a native iOS mobile app for a furniture company that aligns with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, focusing on user-centric design principles to enhance user experience.

STRATEGY

The project began with comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to identify unique features of leading furniture apps. This informed the creation of a UX Audit, User Personas, SWOT Analysis, and User Flow Diagram to understand user behavior and goals. Low and high fidelity wireframes were crafted, integrating modern styles with intuitive functionality. Peer feedback guided revisions, and prototyping introduced micro-interactions for enhanced navigation. User testing provided insights, resulting in a final iOS app prototype that met and exceeded user expectations.

PROCESS

The creative process involved extensive research on target markets, competitors, and user behavior, informing the development of UX/UI design elements such as wireframes, prototypes, and style guides. Utilizing human-centered design principles, the focus remained on creating a visually appealing and user-friendly interface aligned with Apple’s design standards.

RESULT

The final product was a native iOS app for the furniture company, boasting a streamlined onboarding process, intuitive navigation, and a seamless purchase and checkout experience. The app surpassed user expectations, achieving the goal of providing a user centric solution that enhances the overall user journey in furniture browsing and purchasing. This project reinforced the importance of thorough research, iterative design processes, and user feedback in creating successful digital products.
